Villa La Cornovaglia and Ansedonia Booking Terms and Conditions

 

1) BOOKING and DEPOSIT:  

To send us a provisional booking request fill in and send the booking form

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the entire cost of your stay must be paid at the time of booking. We will accept deposits  by bank transfer (the bank account details will be sent to you by email) and  by credit card through pay pal (a 4,5% transaction fee will be applied in this case).

No contract with us will exist until we have received your  Booking request , specifying the period of your stay, the fax attesting the deposit and until we have subsequently confirmed your booking. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion. It is understood that this contract automatically expires at the end of the period stated on the Booking Confirmation .Unless otherwise stated, bookings are for a minimum of one week and run from Saturday to Saturday.  

Upon receipt of your the fax with copy of your deposit, we will send you a BOOKING CONFIRMATION via email or fax  containing the exact address and phone number of Villa La  Cornovaglia , driving directions and a voucher that serves as entrance pass to the house and must be shown to the key holder on arrival. The voucher lists the client's name, the number of persons in his/her party, and the extra costs not included in the Booking Contract such as heating

2) Balance of payment:

The balance due, as reflected on our Invoice, must be paid CASH UPON ARRIVAL . IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE ON TIME. If we do not receive the balance upon arrival, we shall be entitled to cancel the booking without prejudice to our claim for cancellation charges. For bookings made within 10 (ten) days of your arrival, you will be required to pay the full cost of your stay at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust the balance due us should the cost of currency fluctuate by more than 2%.

3) Number of Persons/Replacements /Pets  

The number of people must not exceed the number of sleeping places indicated in the Booking Confirmation. Pets are not permitted unless explicitly agreed to in writing. Should the owner/manager find any violations to this clause, it is totally up to his discretion to ask you to vacate the accommodations.

4) Cancellations:

The deposit is non-refundable regardless the cancellation date. Cancellations received more than six weeks prior to departure will incur loss of the non-refundable deposit as specified above. Cancellations received less than 6 weeks and more than 3 weeks prior to departure will be levied  25% of the total balance. Cancellations received less than 3 weeks prior to departure will be levied a fee of 75% of the total balance unless we resell the apartment. Cancellation must be received by us in writing. We regret that penalty payments cannot be transferred to other periods.

5) Late Bookings:

Clients are required to quote their credit card number when making a telephone or email  reservation within 72 hours of arrival.

6) Non Arrivals:
If guests fail to arrive for a confirmed reservation, we reserve the right to charge the full rate.

7) Extras:

 All Extras are specified on the Voucher and are due in local currency on departure or during your stay.

8) Security Deposit:

A security deposit will be required cash upon arrival. The amount will be specified at the time of reservation  and this deposit will be returned in full at the end of the holiday if, after inspection, the premises and appliances are in good condition and have not been damaged.

9) Arrivals and Departures:

The client must arrive between 3.00 and 6.00 pm. If the client is late, advance notice must be given. If no notice is given, the key holder is not held to wait for the clients after the arrival time has passed. It is up to the key holder's discretion to decide whether or not to allow clients to enter the house at times other than those stated.The client and his/her party must vacate the house between 8.30 and 10.00 am. on the date of departure.

8) Liability

You and your party hold the owner/manager harmless from and against any and all liability arising out of or in any way connected with your use and occupancy of Villa La Cornovaglia, including injuries, consequences of pollution and/or pollutants, damages or losses from fire, theft or criminal activity. The owner/manager is never liable for consequential damages.  

Completion and submission of the Booking Form confirms your acceptance of these conditions
